Comments: Great shoes for women with wide feet (or with bunions) who want a light shoe to use for both training and racing! It's my first pair of Brooks in my 30 years of running, and I wanted to try them because I liked the colors. I'm glad I did. I love my Saucony Endorphins but will use these to switch off.

Comments: Really amazing, pick-up-the-pace quick, great feel and control shoes. Back in the pre-carbon days, these would be a perfect half marathon or marathon racing shoes for an efficient runner. I love them for all workouts but would not casually run more than 10ish miles on them as that would cause more soreness than warranted for a casual workout. I am a casual shoe 7.5 and take these (as all Brooks, including the Levitate and Ghost) size 8. Fit is superb. My only complaint is that after 200 miles, they are starting to feel pretty flat. I am a light runner (125#) and usually can easily squeeze more than 300 miles from my shoes especially at this price point.

Comments: Fast feeling shoes! Love the comfy uppers with no overlays. And the roomy toe box is great!

Comments: If you liked the original Hyperion, you will most likely like these.  I like them better than the original because wider/ more stretchy toe box and have a bit more cushion (though still very responsive).  These are lightweight, fast, and my choice for all road runs.  Out of necessity, I also took them on a 15-mile non-technical trail run, and they performed well.  The toe box is still a bit too narrow for me on longer distances (feet swelling with heat/ humidity), but they are better than the original Hyperion's which I basically capped at 5-mile runs before getting blisters on my pinky toes.  I would repurchase; hopefully, they stick with this design for a bit.

I purchased the Brooks Hyperion Tempo to replace my worn-out Brooks Levitate 3.  So far, I really love these shoes.  They are super light and have that springy rebound that my lower back and knees appreciate.  I will say the toe box is slightly more narrow than previous Brooks I have owned, which I personally like.  I have always purchased running shoes one size larger than I normally wear and this held true for the Hyperion Tempo.  My only complaint would be the color options.  I really loved the color options of the Levitate 4 but felt that my last pair broke down a lot sooner than any previous Brooks (Ghost & Glycerin). I'm hoping these hold up better. For reference I do cross training 5 days a week and usually walk or run 6 miles per week.

Have run ~50mi total in these shoes. Neutral midfoot striker, 5'10" 145#. Love the light weight and the quick feel. For my 11.5 AA/B feet, these fit well with little heel slippage, even with orthotics. Formerly wore the Nike Pegasus size 11.5B until v.35 when they started making the heel cup too shallow to fit orthotics, and I had to find a different shoe. For runners with wide feet, these may not be a good fit.

I like these, but found out they run ( for me) a half size big, I had to exchange the 6.5 for a 6. Comfortable upper, breathable. Was cushioned a supportive running, not great on rocks! Ran faster in these, not every day trainer. But if doing speed runs perfect

This is one of my favorite shoes in my 10-11 years of running. I have always done well with Brooks in the fit category and these simply disappear on my feet. I have an average width foot and I love the snug midfoot lockdown. Like others, I had to learn how tight to cinch the stretchy laces. I experienced no discomfort from the laces so I cinch them quite tightly and find the shoe very secure and supportive despite the very light weight and breathable upper. I would never let laces be a deal breaker for a shoe I otherwise love anyway as they are cheap to replace. Nevertheless, I have come to like them, though for my foot they are on the long side. I wish running companies would send two sets of laces of different lengths.
I am a fan of the DNA Flash midsole, which is on the firmer, more responsive side, but thick enough to feel protective, and fun particularly at faster paces. I have used these shoes for fast middle distance races as well as every type of workout. I think the 8 mm drop is ideal, love the light weight, the design and color (I have the original black with the beautiful ice blue midsole and will purchase another pair of the same at some point), and I hope Brooks changes nothing significant in future iterations.

After this morning's run, I noted that I have been running a total of 70 miles over the past month or so in the Brooks Hyperion Tempo. In the first couple of weeks, I was getting used to the laces--if I had them tied just right (not too tight, not too loose), then all felt great. But if the laces were off, then I had to stop and re-adjust/re-tie. Now I am more used to the laces. Most runs go smoothly and I love the forward rolling motion as well as the light feeling in these shoes. I hardly notice/think about the shoes while running. Cushioning is nice. Maybe some slipping on the heels, but that may have to do with the laces. Basically these are great shoes for any distance.

The Brooks tempo is a great minimal light weight shoe that is excellent as a trainer. This is my second pair since the release of this shoes. If your are looking for stability this is not your shoe!! Great for short runs or long runs.

I believe with the proper training a great pair of shoes will take you a long way. I bought these shoes for my tempo runs and I have to say the comfort and bounce i feel throughout the run is one of a kind. I love this shoe!!!

I tried this shoe after running in Saucony Kinvara 11 for a few months. It was a very similar shoe, and I liked how light it was, similar to the Kinvara. The part I didn't like was that the top did not feel secure and the tongue and laces moved around a lot. Ended up not keeping them because the price and how similar it was to my previous shoes. Not a bad shoe, and I liked that Brooks has come up with a lighter shoe! Hopefully newer versions keep improving.

Comments:
I actually really liked these shoes and found them to be quite comfortable and supportive. They definitely are speedy shoes and my cadence was faster in these. However, for whatever reason, my hips started to hurt when running in them. Not sure if the change in cadence and gait had anything to do other it, but that is what I think happened. While I did not want to return them, I guess my body was telling me I need a different shoe.

Not thrilled. I liked the feel of the shoes when I first tried them on, but after doing two 10 milers in them, just think they do not provide enough support. Shoe is very soft, almost too soft with a slipper feel.

: These are AMAZING! I am a big brooks fan and use quite a few of their neutral shoes and run my long easy runs in the ghost religiously. I did 7 mile tempo run in these today right out of the box. They are very light and comfortable. Didn't even notice them. I have been doing most of my speed workouts in the Hoka Rincon which i do love and i would say these are comparable in terms of weight. They have a slight softer feel i think. I will definitely be putting these in my rotation regularly.
