Comments: Felt a bit crowded in the toe box.

Comments: I was a big fan of earlier versions of this shoe (bought several pairs of the v10), but this shoes falls short of that standard: 1. Sizing is different. These run about a half size smaller than the old shoe. Not a dealbreaker since you can buy a different size, but an indicator that substantial changes were made to the shoe. 2. Materials seem cheaper. The mesh of the upper and foam of the sole seem cheaper/lower-quality than earlier models. An example of this is the laces, which definitely feel cheaper and are also inconveniently short. 3. Support is much worse. I think this is a neutral shoe so one shouldn't expect motion control, but there is much less arch support than I encountered in the prior model. Overall this shoe is quite a disappointment to me as a big fan of this series in the past.

Comments: Getting back into running and I'm very heavy right now, over 250lbs so this may not apply to lighter runners. I picked up a couple pair of shoes to rotate as I go on long walks and light runs. The cushioning on these shoes just doesn't seem as good as the Hoka Mach 4's I got to rotate them with. The tongue, while well padded, gradually slides to the side and the mesh material of the upper seems to pick up every stray piece of grass (running on gravel roads mostly) along the route. I keep wishing I had a second pair of the Hoka's instead, especially at a similar price point.

Comments: Decent space in toe box. Wide but not super wide. Very comfortable with good cushioning. Looks good and modern as well.
