BOA Men's Elite Stretch Split Short Review

With its lively prints and striking colourways, BOA's Elite Split Short is designed to be your flashy, lightweight running companion. These shorts feature an elastic waistband with an internal drawstring for a secure, adjustable fit and built-in moisture-wicking briefs for added breathability. Two stash pockets will hold small essentials (such as nutrition gels and keys) when on the go. The short com in either a 1-inch or 3-inch inseam with a side split that allows a complete range of motion for the elite runner looking to speed past the competition. The 1-inch short's minimal length offers unrestricted movement for top-flight performance, but the more modest 3-inch option is a great option for the athlete who prefers a bit more coverage. Overall, our tester enjoyed the short's comfortable fit and quality design, which was respectably durable for its budget-friendly price point.

Kaleb: "The Elite Split Short has minimal features: a breathable mesh liner and two side stash pockets, which work effectively and get the job done with simplicity. I would have liked a couple more design features to elevate these shorts to the next level, but I can't complain at this price point. In terms of style, these are trademark BOA shorts, so it's no surprise they make a bold statement."

Kaleb: "The shorts fit very well, and the internal liner is fairly comfortable. I am not a big fan of 1-inch shorts in general and prefer the more modest coverage of the 3-inch option. I found the 1" shorts didnt provide me with the coverage that i needed for longer runs, but those who are used to a 1" split short will be happy with the design."

Kaleb: "I was surprised by the quality of these shorts. Despite not having the softest or most breathable material, given their price point, you get a good amount of value that should last you for a while. I love BOA's fun patterns; the Tiger shorts, in particular, have caught my eye #joeexotic."
