The Bottom Line
Our tester absolutely loved this pack. They've tested a number of packs from Salomon and other brands, and this Sense Pro Set Pack has risen to the very top of the list. Firstly, it is extremely lightweight and fits like a second skin. It comfortably hugs the wearer's body, preventing unwanted bouncing even when fully loaded with gear. The pockets are easy to access and the material has enough stretch to accommodate all of your running essentials. Our tester's only complaint with this pack is that the flasks feature a moulded bottom that can dig into your ribs and cause discomfort during long runs. Overall, this vest is the best choice on the market for racing or training, and it comes highly recommended for the runner seeking ultimate comfort and performance.
Fit/Comfort

David: "I found the fit to be true to size and consistent with my other Salomon packs. I'm 6'4" and 200 lb, and the large is spot on. This pack is designed to fit snug to prevent bouncing, but if you prefer a slightly looser fit, then feel free to size up. Also, this pack is insanely lightweight, so it feels like a second skin, even when loaded up with gear. The inner material is constructed from a breathable mesh that allows for plenty of airflow, while the outer fabric offers a soft, premium feel that can expand to hold more gear. The only downside to this pack is the flasks, as they feature a rigid bottom that can dig into my ribs. I used some other Salomon flasks I had lying around instead, and it took my pack experience to the next level."
Pack Storage

David: "This pack offers enough storage for a half or full-day worth of running supplies. I was impressed with the number of pockets and how easily accessible they all are. On the front are two holster pockets for the flasks, and right below those are two additional holsters for gels, your phone, a headlamp, etc. There are also underarm pockets on either side that connect via the lower back so you can stash a jacket or other small essentials while on the move. Finally, on the back are two bulk storage options for your larger items that you won't need immediately, like extra layers of clothes, nutrition, or a headlamp."
Hydration

David: "This pack includes two 500ml soft flasks, which provide plenty of hydration for a couple of hours of running. They offer large openings that make for easy cleaning and filling. My biggest issue with these flasks is that they feature a round, moulded bottom that can dig into my ribs and cause discomfort on my longer runs. This might not be the case for everyone, but I would recommend switching out the flasks for the best experience."
Quality

David: "The Sense Pro Set Pack pack is well designed and uses premium materials to enhance comfort and performance. The material feels high quality, and each section of the pack works seamlessly as a whole to create an enjoyable running experience."
Value

David: "This pack is a bit pricey, but it's on par with the top-of-the-line options from other brands, and in my opinion, it is the best out of them all. The lightweight design, comfortable fit, and quality fabric are reasons enough to choose this vest for all of your racing or training needs."
