What's New
The Saucony Omni 19 is a comfortable, daily running shoe designed to correct overpronation on your road running adventures. This iteration of the Omni received a complete overhaul, from its upper all the way down to the outsole. For an improved hold of the foot, Saucony replaced the ISO fit upper with an all-new FORMFIT upper. This new design is intended to solve the fit issues runners experienced in previous versions, allowing the shoe to accommodate a greater variety of foot types.
Meanwhile, for an improved underfoot feel, both the midsole and outsole received a full revamp. The shoe features Saucony's new PWRRUN foam, which makes for a springier and noticeably softer underfoot experience than previous models. Combine this with a brand new outsole, and you have a shoe that provides a smoother ride for the miles ahead.
The Bottom Line
The Omni's balance of responsive cushioning and stability makes it the perfect shoe for the runner looking for a reliable and adaptable daily trainer. Our tester loved the versatility the Saucony Omni 19 offered. The revamped foam makes this shoe responsive enough for faster runs and soft enough for recovery runs and longer excursions. With its comfortable cushioning, accomodating upper, and smooth ride, overpronators will not be disappointed with the Omni 19.

Our In-Depth Look
Shoe Softness i
Ben: "I prefer softer running shoes, and the Omni 19 delivered enough soft cushioning for comfort on all my runs. They seem to disappear on my feet and never felt harsh when running on pavement."

Ride/Energy Return i
Ben: "Though it absorbs much of the impact from footstrikes, the cushioning of the Omni 19 still has enough energy return to propel me forward without undue effort. Although it is not a racing shoe, the Omni 19 has enough spring for me to run a 5K or 10K in them."

Underfoot Protection i
Ben: "While running with the Omni 19 on bike paths, pavement, and dirt roads, I barely noticed the ground. The longest run I did was 8 miles, and my legs never felt beat up from the impact."

Underfoot Flexibility i
Ben: "Despite being a stability shoe, the Omni 19 is flexible enough to allow my feet to go through their full range of motion in my gait. The ride felt smooth and natural as I ran."

Upper Feel i
Ben: "The heel counter does a great job of supporting my foot without feeling hard or uncomfortable. In the same way, the toe box is structured but not too narrow. Overall, the Omni 19's upper provides plenty of support without giving me hot spots or irritation."
