If hydration is less vital, the pouches double as secure storage for a phone, or other gear thanks to the elastic drawcords. A weather-resistant pocket in the back can hold phones, gels, or headlamps, while the rear shock cord lets you attach a light jacket in a pinch. For additional storage, runners can add on the Ultimate Direction Adventure Pocket.
