The HOKA Mach X 2 is a versatile daily training shoe with a race-day feel for every run or workout.

**FIT NOTE: Due to heel fit and minimal collar padding, some runners may experience increased heel rubbing.**

The HOKA Mach X 2 is a speed-oriented running shoe designed to bring race-day performance to your everyday training. Engineered for propulsive speed, this shoe features a highly resilient PEBA superfoam midsole that is surrounded by an EVA foam chassis to provide a cushioned landing and an explosive toe-off. Sandwiched between each foam compound is an extended Pebax Rnew plate to ensure enhanced support and propulsion, while a race inspired geometry similar to the Cielo X 1 boasts an increased rocker profile for an aggressive toe-off along with a fast and snappy ride.

The upper is crafted from an extra light and breathable woven material, featuring a sleek race-inspired collar that prioritizes a low weight with minimal padding. The outsole incorporates zonal rubber placement, strategically designed for optimal weight savings without compromising durability. Whether you're aiming for a personal best or enhancing your daily runs, the HOKA Mach X 2 stands as the ultimate speed training partner, offering an excellent blend of lightweight design and responsive performance.

What You'll Love:

  • Soft and resilient PEBA foam
  • Smooth heel-to-toe transitions with every stride
  • Incredible versatility

Great Shoe......butHonestly, a fantastic shoe. Can do pretty much any speed at a great rate, has a fantastic spring off, smoothness, and is great fun to run in... but... as I took them off after 3 runs, I was surprised to see the heel had changed colour... the rubbing didn't feel too bad, but it was definitely there. After a few weeks it was fine after softening up, but just a caution.

FantasticAbsolutely fantastic shoes! Compared to the Mach 6 they are more responsive and forgiving - a fast smooth shoe which is a beauty to run in. No heel issues with me, they are fine.

As bad as they are goodWith anticipation I purchased my new Hoka X2 this afternoon. Excited for my first run in them: 10km Friday evening, nothing special 4.38 min p/km pace. By the time I hit 7km my heels were shredded and bleeding. I was wearing Injiji trail socks, with great cushioning so I hate to think how much worse it would be to wear a thinner pair of socks. These runners are unusable and not fit for purpose. I can’t imagine running any amount of distance in these. Everything fantastic about these runners is undone by the discomfort of the heels. If Hoka can fix the heel these will be fantastic but otherwise expensive rubbish.
